Solar Flares and Slowing Down

Writer: Sarah LambourneSarah Lambourne

You may wonder what the two have in common or are unaware of what Solar flares are.

Essentially they are intense bursts of electromagnetic energy from the Sun that at times can come directly towards Earth. They are generated from active sunspots and over recent years the Sun has become more and more active to the point that every few days we seem to be on the receiving end of intense Solar energies.

This may seem irrelevant to us but we are electromagnetic beings. Our central nervous system generates electricity and we are in a constant relationship with the magnetic force of the Earth. These Solar flares bombard our system with waves upon waves of energy and our system then has to try and deal with this. The main system of our body to be exposed to this energy is our central nervous system. A flood of energy coming in that can make us feel anxious, overwhelmed, induce overthinking and over analysing or exacerbating our already preconditioned ways of being. For example, if you have a tendency to be fearful at times this energy can create even more fear.

Conversely as the mind gets overstimulated the body can feel exhausted. There is a lot going on in all systems of the body, digestion can slow down, foods that we normally eat may make us feel bloated and lethargic. Aching joints can be another common experience in the body as well as headaches. As we are all unique, some people can get floored with this energy and others wonder what all the fuss is about.

At the moment we are receiving a huge amount of energy from the Sun as there is a massive coronal hole on the Sun sending solar winds towards us.

The best thing we can do at this time is, if possible, to slow down. To only address the absolutely necessary things in life (which I know for some are many). Eat lightly, drink lots of water and be kind to yourself as right now the body is going through a lot.
